My name is John, but to many people I am known as Johnno.

I am a keen hobbyist photographer living in Sydney, Australia.

While I have had an interest in cameras, photography and cinematography from a young age, I only properly dived into photography as recently as April of 2005 when I bought my first DSLR.

In the past, cameras I had owned included a compact digital, 35mm film SLR, 35mm compact film and 110-format film cameras, and I have had some experience with black and white film development and printing.

Subjects of interest include people (candid and posed portraiture), urban and natural landscapes, events (bands, weddings, etc.) and urban objects.

Equipment-wise, I use Canon EOS digital SLR cameras, Canon lenses, Canon flashes, Manfrotto camera supports, Lowepro bags and cases, Cokin and Hoya filters, PocketWizard wireless triggers and SanDisk memory cards.

As of April, 2008, I have started selling my work via RedBubble. I offer a small selection of my best images for sale at my RedBubble gallery. If you would like to buy a print one of my images, and it is not available from my RedBubble site, please feel free to contact me and I will make it available.

In addition to photography, I have been a musician for over twenty years. In that time, I have been playing a combination of guitar, bass guitar and drums. Currently all of my musical efforts are spent on electric guitar, and for a number of years I have held the position of lead guitarist in a band, which plays a variety of popular rock and pop music. I have also worked on various other projects and in different musical groups, both in the studio and on the stage.

I have also had the pleasure and fortune of travelling throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States, and I maintain various interests in other areas.
