I spotted this ibis frolicking around one of the water features at Darling Harbour.
Many people seemingly find these birds pesty, but I do not mind them.
They can be very difficult to photograph, as they constantly bob their heads up and down. I spent a fair while photographing this one with one of my sharpest lenses, and I think the result was worth the effort.
The harsh light also made difficult work of photographing a bright subject.
