Resting Leopardess

On day 10 in the Mara North Conservancy, we spent the afternoon and evening with a pair of mating leopards, which is an incredible and rare sight.

In this image, the young leopardess rests in the thick grass in between intense mating sessions, while the much larger and older male leopard lingers nearby before his next approach.
