Roller in Profile

A stunning lilac-breasted roller, perched against a clean green background in the Mara North Conservancy in south-west Kenya.

Indeed, I have posted a number of images of this particular roller, but the light, location and pose were all so optimal, that it is hard to resist posting another image of this vividly-plumed bird in its natural habitat.
