Fire Water Burn

About

On this morning, I ventured up to the north end of Turimetta Beach — to the actual headland itself — with a few other intrepid photographers.

We wanted to take the least-travelled path, whereas the other photographers stayed around the well-photographed southern end of Turimetta Beach, where the famous gorge is located.

It is a long and challenging scramble across large rocks, and often through water, to reach this point right on the extreme edge of Turimetta Head.

On this particular morning, and intense red, orange and yellow sky exploded into vivid colour as we captured the interaction between the water and the rocks.

It was well worth taking the time to visit a new location and do something different.
