Mount Tomah Spiral

On a quiet Sunday, we decided to head into the Blue Mountains via Bells Line of Road.

After some fruit picking and an encounter with a diamond python at Bilpin, we headed further into the mountains, and stopped at the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens at Mount Tomah.

While not a photography outing, I did bring my gear, and whilst sipping coffee from the restaurant and overlooking the picturesque scene, I saw this interesting spiral, and despite the harsh light, I decided to capture this scene.

This location would look fantastic in golden hour light.
