Early Evening Leisure
Most of our afternoon/evening game drive during our second day in the Mara on this occasion was spent south of camp in the company of the Offbeat Pride of lions.
A moody sky was the background of this lush area of the Mara North Conservancy, which is inhabited by the Offbeat Pride.
Here, after sunset and as the darkness of night increasingly set in, one of the lionesses rests, while nearby the cubs and other young pride lions were becoming more active.
A short time later, it was time to leave the lions to their business and return to camp.
