Aerial View of Pokolbin

Just a few hours ago, I was in a Robinson R44 Raven I helicopter (VH-HUL), flying over Pokolbin in the NSW Hunter Valley.

As a wine aficionado, the Lower Hunter is one of my favourite wine regions; but I had never seen it from above.

I captured numerous video and still images as we flew around the valley for 30 minutes.

The following view looks south over the central part of Pokolbin, with Broke Road running across the bottom third of the frame.

The Tempus Two complex is visible about a third from the left and a third up (the arc-shaped building), and the Hunter Valley Gardens can be seen past Broke Road, towards the right side of the frame.
