Twilight Sisterhood

During our visit to the Blue Mountains in the winter of 2012, on the first day we headed to Echo Point, where I wanted to capture the iconic Three Sisters rock formation during golden hour and twilight.

This image was taken night long after the sun dipped below the ridge to the west.

The microclimate at Echo Point can be vastly different just a few hundred metres away, and here, it was chillingly cold as I stood, waiting, while tourists and even another photographer, came and went.
